Ushuaia, the last stage of my year-long overland trip across South America! It is famous for being the city "at the end of the world": an arbitrary BS which brings flock of backpackers, and makes it an overpriced tourist trap. I originally planned to live there for a few months while waiting for the boat trips to Antarctica (which only operate during the summer) but chose instead to quickly return into the warm arms of Clarita in Buenos Aires.

Beagle Channel is a strait in the Tierra del Fuego Archipelago on the extreme southern tip of South America, partly in Chile and partly in Argentina.  The channel separates the larger main island of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego from various smaller islands. The channel's eastern area forms part of the border between Chile and Argentina and the western area is entirely within Chile.
