The Colle di Nava is a crossing of the Ligurian Alps, connecting the valley Arroscia (Liguria) and the Tanaro Valley (Piedmont). The main towns in the area are Col Di Nava, Ponte di Nava and Ormera.

The Saint-Bernard of Mendatica (1262 m above sea level) is a crossing of the Ligurian Alps located in the province of Imperia. It connects the Colle di Nava with Monesi, Mendatica and the Garezzo mountain (leading to France).

Ville San Pietro is a mountain village in the province of Imperia. The village church dates from the 18th century, and was built by the architect Francesco Maria Marvaldi (1699-1752).
