GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Panglao is one of two municipalities that make up Panglao Island (the other being Dauis), and its territory also includes the three smaller islands of Balicasag, Gak‑ang, and Pontod (or Pungtud, a.k.a. Virgin Island). Panglao is known for its diving locations and tourist resorts.

ALONA BEACH

The Alona Beach is located on the Panglao island, around 20 kilometres from Tagbilaran. It is one of the most famous tourist spots in the Bohol province, because of its white sand and the rocky cliffs surrounding it.
