The historical center can be visited in half a day, and does not offer much, except a colonial theater (Teatro Álvaro de Carvalho, which was closed during my entire stay in Florianopolis), a cathedral (located on at Praça XV de Novembro) and the municipal market on Largo da Alfândega.
