GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Wat Inpeng is an active temple (with resident monks) built in the 16th century. It contains beautiful murals, a library building, a small chapel and several other Buddhist structures. An elaborate entrance gate with green seven-headed Naga snakes guards the temple.
